Medium FB doesn't fit already?????

He has small waist so he still has room to grow on the waist.. but on the thigh area, he's already on the last snap and way too tight...

i measured his thighs and it's just 11 in. and his waist is 16.. his weight is about 20 lbs ... so according to those measurements, he should still be able to fit into the mediums.. but why is the thigh area too tight already? any ideas?

thanx!!

i had the same problem with smalls-ds's by their measurents is still a small but the thighs are just way too tight and the waist was STILL on the smallest setting!

i bought a med. and used a m/lg moe insert folded in front and it fits great!!

The thighs are too tight on the largest setting?? That seems odd for a 20 pounder. Are you sure you're putting them on the largest setting? My dd is about average, about 17 lbs, and I have her on the next to smallest thigh setting.

He must've had a growth spurt recently.. i just weighed him (by carrying him and minus my own weight) and he weighed about 21 1/2 lbs...

mama23boys, I definitely will sell some of my mediums so i can buy larges...

I just need to go figure out how many i will sell and I will let you know..

Re: Medium FB doesn't fit already?????

I think it is important to remember that the size charts for diapers are just guidelines, doesn't mean it will be accurate for all kids. If you are on the tightest snap for the waist and the loosest for the legs then my guess is that most of your baby's weight is in the leg... in that case it would make sense that the "averages" of the size chart may not be accurate.

My only question would be how old is he? Is he walking yet? I have had a lot of customers switch to larges around 11 months and then a month later the kid starts walking, slims down and needs mediums again...

Re: Medium FB doesn't fit already?????

Hi Molly, I bought BL from you several months ago

My son just turned 8 months.. he's crawling but not walking yet... so i guess there's a chance he can slim down a bit huh?

I shouldn't go crazy selling my whole FB stash then... I'll probably just sell several to offset the large purchases...
