Newbie~Just got first FB in mail.

Okay we just got our first FB in the mail. It's a medium. They are a little lose in the leg holes, so am I going to have leaking? She doesn't have very big thighs. The Med's are good around the waist. Just a little too snug if they are on the smallest setting. So I'm thinking maybe Fb's will not be for us? OTHERWISE, I loved it! And so soft.

Hmm maybe we'll just wait for her to grow into them because otherwise I really liked it. She's almost 6 months old! So probably not worth it to buy a stash of Smalls. They aren't terribly lose. Just not tight fitting like her sposies.

I have the same problem. My 6 mo ds is too big for the smalls, but the mediums do not fit well around the thigh. I bought mine all used, so I wasn't sure if it was the elastic or the fit, but I have read about others having a dc that is in between sizes. Seems like there should be a better overlap on the sizing. Anyway, I have been using the mediums at night with no leaks, even w/BFPs. Don't know if I've just been lucky , but it's been working for us. Some nights he's come pretty close to the edge , but no leaks yet.

yes you will definitely have leaks if the legs gape. We have this same problem. At 9 months old Meds still gape at the leg. We try to make smalls work but they are really too short in the rise. If this problem didn't exist I would love FBs!!!

I'm guessing bfp is breast feeding pooh. How about I get my Carter to give you some chunk from his thighs and then both kids can fit into the various diapers, lol. My son has a thinner waist but huge thighs so most diapers I can't get around his legs.

Yeah, i'm not feeling the FB love either, the mediums are too big and the smalls are getting too small, he's long and slim.

My daugthers gap at the legs too. It really helps if you take both of the pointed tabs on the sides and kind of pull them up and out to the side. They will be sticking out of the diapers which looks a little funny, but it really helps tighten up the legs. Mine hardly ever leak even though they are pretty big around the legs. Plus every FB is made a little different so some fit really well around the legs and some not at all even though they are all mediums.
