Re: i want some pasta recipes
Oh man the possibilites are endless.
Tomorrow I'm gonna make a soup with cheese ravioli, ground turkey, canellini beans, and chicken stock - easy peasy! And, so good. Top with fresh grated parmesean and garlic bread! I make angel hair pasta and toss with olive oil, garlic, green onion and calamari, and shrimp! I also make cheese tortellini and mix with alfredo sauce. and then in another pan cook up peices of chicken breast and steam some brocolli and then mix. thats my DHs and DDs favorite.

Re: i want some pasta recipes
you could totally make the soup with beef ravioli, and the alfredo one with beed ravioli or tortellini.

Re: i want some pasta recipes
I like Not-sagna which is like a lasagna/spaghetti combo I got off 30 Minute meals but I make it even easier! LOL
1lb ground beef/turkey 1/2Tbsp worchestershire sauce 1/2tsp Allspice 1 clove chopped garlic 1/2C chopped onion 1 jar spaghetti sauce 1 small container of ricotta cheese 1/4C parmesan cheese a few leaves of fresh basil, chopped 1lb cooked pasta (calls for a long twirly macaroni but my Albertsons stopped carrying them so I also use fancy egg noodles or some zitti.) Brown meat, drain, add onions, garlic, Allspice and WS sauce. Cook untill onions are turning clear and add spaghetti sauce. Cook pasta, reserving 1/2C pasta water when draining. Mix pasta water, cheeses and pasta. Add 1/2 of meat sauce mixture to pasta & cheese. Pour remaining sauce over pasta and sprinkle with fresh basil!

Re: i want some pasta recipes
A week or two ago when I was home sick, Rachel Ray made a lasagna with cheese raviolis. I bet the recipe is available on her show's website. It looked really yummy!

Re: i want some pasta recipes
We do a lot of pasta bakes-- whatever pasta we have on hand (rotini, shells, etc)-- ground meat or I'll make meatballs, put down a layer of noodles (cooked), throw on the sauce and mix it, throw in meatballs, top with cheese and bake until cfheese is melted and bubbly.
Same idea, I'll layer noodles, blended cottage cheese or ricotta, meat sauce, more noodles, meat sauce-- the top with moz and bake- it's sort of like lasagna. Again, it's pasta but not spaghetti-- baked mac and cheese can be really easy and so yummy. I don't have the recipie on hand but I'll come back to this post with it/

Re: i want some pasta recipes
Fettcini Alfredo
Cook your noddles first, set them aside In a wok-style skillet ( I use my wok) put 1tbsp butter, a clove of Garlic, some diced onion, sautee. Add Whipping Cream (how much depends on how much you want to make) I use a 500ml container to make enough for a family of 5. Shake in Parmesan Cheese to flavor. Add your noodles, reduce to low, let simmer while turning the noddles (so the sauce sticks to the noodles.) When the sauce is thickened to the point that it's all stuck to the noodles, it's done. I add stuff all the time to this, zucchini, mushrooms, Chicken, Bacon., Broccoli, peppers, whatever you like! SO easy and sooooo Yummy! |
