Re: I want to try babywearing
A pouch or ring sling would be the fastest to put on. A pouch needs to be sized correctly while a ring sling is more versatile.
A MT would be a great choice at this age or an Ergo. The differences between the various MT are in body and strap style. I’m of a similar build as you (perhaps more generous in sizing) and I love both my kozy and my Eden. (my eden is my favorite). Takes a minute or 2 to put on but then its done for awhile. I have a classic Ergo – they’ve made changes w/the New Generation (NG) I don’t find it at all comfy on my front but many people do. I like the Ergo for walking the dogs though since I don’t have straps to dangle and get dirty. See if there’s a local nino or bw group in your area so you could try stuff on. There’s a listing at tbw G’luck! Advertisement |

Re: I want to try babywearing
I had a pouch (HOtsling) for my first sling and I don't use it much. I find t hat it really hurts my shoulder joint. I like a ring sling. I'm a size 18, and I don't really like things around my waist, so I lke a ring sling better. I guess I'm really vain about hiding my gut LOL. I have a Zolowear and I really like it. I can wear it for hours. I'm putting an EllaRoo ring slng on my Christmas list. Its similiar but a little less expensive and I love the print that I picked. I do hear so many positives about MT's though.
