Feeding seats
I'm tired of my highchair. It's just gross and yucky. It gets food stuck in every crevice and I can't get it clean enough. My dd is 15 months old. We're going to get a booster or clip on high chair. I'm leaning towards a clip on high chair so I can just take the whole seat and throw it in the wash. She is also very chunky and the booster my parents have doesn't buckle around her.
What do you use (please be specific style brand etc.) and why? |

Re: Feeding seats
I voted booster but we dont' always use it. It's kinda a pain because with the booster and our table I can't really get in close enough to her plate/bowl to eat without getting food everywhere. She generally just sits at the table in a chair but her face is then even with her plate
But at least she's closer.

Re: Feeding seats
I have four pub chairs at the regular table. They are just the right height for kids.

Re: Feeding seats
I have a cute Eddie Bauer wood booster with tray and sometimes we use the tray and other times we take it off and pull it up to the table... either way. It gets pretty grungy, too, but not as bad as the high chair did, and MUCH easier to clean. We got it for $20 at Big Lots!

Re: Feeding seats
We have a wooden highchair (easy to clean & fits up to table)... I got it through the penneys catalogue years ago when I did child care, but I bet they still sell them...
& a graco tot lock that we got at toys r us... it's great, has the easy to clean vinal padding... we liked this the best, but around 2 years old it started getting harder to get Zander in and out of it, because his legs were too long... sometimes in a pinch when our nephew is over we still use it, but have to sit Zander in it & then hook it to the table...

Re: Feeding seats
ds is 18months and he sits either in his highchair or in a chair (just like we do at the table) Right now I have a friends twins here (16months) and the girl twin and Aidan sat in the chairs and the boy twin sat in the highchair
ETA: I voted other because he sits in whichever he pleases
