How soon can they sleep with a toy?
Katie is almost 6 months. I've been thinking about giving her a small stuffed animal to play with in her crib.
Is it too soon to let her sleep with a small stuffed animal? When did you let your kids do it? |

I think you should not put anything in the crib until they are 1-1 1/2 yrs old. That is the age I felt was safe for them to have something in their crib.

Re: How soon can they sleep with a toy?
Well my ds is almost 6 months also and he doesn't sleep with any toys yet, but he is getting a stuffed toy for Christmas from build a bear workshop. I think that once they are able to roll around and move (which my ds can do complete cirles in his crib) that they should be able to have a stuffed animal.

Re: How soon can they sleep with a toy?
once they are able to roll either way then I think its ok... I introduced a "woobie" while bfing to help with her sleeping at 6mo. it worked perfectly. she got used to the woobie and that alone calmed her enough to be able to sleep by herself. the only problem now is that she wont let it out of her site, she even takes it to church, everyone knows her with Woobie
