Would you recommend a "Storch" for a year old 22lb baby? With wraps do you have to get different sizes for youself as well? I've seen a couple wraps and they looks so comfy, but also so much more confusing! I'm intimidated!

( Sorry! )
Yes woven wraps are wonderful! I put my 35 pounder in it and he seems weightless! (but not for long)! I have a storch and a didy and soon a BB slen! I really like my didy wave for rucksack carries. It is REALLY grippy so its hard to get tight but once i do its perfect. I love my storch for front carries or BWCC carries. uber comfortable! I also have an ergo and right now I choose a wrap over my ergo. There is a learning curve espically to back carries. Actually I put mine up for sale and then decided to give it another go around and I figured out how to do the perfect back carries! I love them! You'll have to play around w/ sizing though. How tall are you?

Yep, I lurve me some BH! My fav. MT and I have tried a bunch!

Storch wrap would be nice for a Toddler as well...any german woven wrap will do.

My son is 19 months old (actually almost 20 months old now!!!) and I prefer my BabyHawk over my Ergo. I'm considering selling the Ergo because I really use the BH more often. The ONLY thing that I like better about the Ergo is that if you're putting it on outside, the straps don't drag on the ground.... it's a small thing, but I always put on my BH INSIDE so that I don't get the straps dirty. After it's on, you're good to go...

Anyway, I love my Babyhawk! I also went reversible since I couldn't decide on fabrics and I got a pocket on both sides, too, which is REALLY nice. Oh, and for his age, definitely get the extra length in the body of the XT.

Re: Who has a BabyHawk?

I just sold my last baby hawk in favor of (SPAM) my own. (more spam to come)
I'm stocking a great deal on a denim strap one on the 27th if you want to try one, but don't want to pay too much.
