Diaper Swappers

My husband and I moved to this side of the state almost a year ago, and we still have VERY few friends outside of our church.

I am DYING to find us some likeminded people to spend time with. I am a SAHM, and I find it challenging at times being so isolated and with no one to talk to (my family is 2500+ miles away).

We live in Athens, which is about 45 minutes south of Knoxville, but we go there often (shopping, site seeing, Doctors appointments and such). The few friends we have from church are not at all likeminded. None of the gals breastfeed, and you should see the looks we get when we mention cloth diapering, non vaxing etc (=

Hubby and I are just very laid back, friendly people. We enjoy just about everything. We just really want to find some other folks closeby that we can do things with.

So, if you are in or around Knoxville, make yourself known! (lol)

Oh come on now...I know you are out there. I remember there were quite a few from Knox area when someone did a "where are you located?" type post.

WOOHOO! A couple of neighbors! Jodie, you arnt far from me at all!

We definately need to try and all get together. Maybe at Earth Fare or something (thats in Knox)

I'm 90 min away too. I'm actually in VA, but on the border with TN. Down near Johnson City/Kingsport. I've lived here for 6+ yrs and still don't have any friends!
