Re: Anyone used these Stride Rite shoes?

first off, those are SUPER cute!!! i'm sure this is not set in stone, but we just went to stride rite yesterday to get ds his first pair of shoes and the sales lady said that the stage 1 (which i think those are) are for babies crawling around. she said since he's not walking we could go ahead and buy a stage 1 shoe, but that when he starts walking we should move up to a stage 2. we ended up going ahead with a stage 2 b/c he's pulling up to standing and cruising pretty well. just a thought, we just didn't want to spend the extra $$ of having to buy 2 pairs in a short period of time since he'll probably be walking soon anyways. just my

forgot to add we LOVE the shoes we got for ds. he doesn't mind them at all either. http://www.striderite.com/shopping/p...iProductID=772 the brown is not quite as cute as girly shoes, maybe the next one is a girl!

those are so stickin cute!!! Stride Rite shoes are awesome shoes!! I'd recomend actually going to a store (if there's one close to you) bc they size your DC, and give you very great information about shoes and stuff. Their people are very educated on their shoes!

Don't forget - Stride Rite is also trying to get you to buy those 20-30-40 dollar shoes as many times as possible...the Stride Rite here is so high pressure I can't even stand it!

before this trip i definitely agree they can be very high pressure! lucky for us the girl was super nice and told us she could write down her recommendation if we wanted to come back and after we paid said 'now you can return these if your not happy'. i was thinking 'am i in the right store??'.

OMG adorable! I have a similar pair for my dd:
http://www.striderite.com/shopping/p...ProductID=1205

she is 1 but has been wearing them a couple months now. She is a crawler, not a walker. i tried her in the next stage, which is what they were pushing for at the store, but they got in the way when she tried to crawl so I stuck with these. IMO they are a mid point b/w robeez type and shoes. I love them, and they dont seem to bother her at all!
