It turned out super bright which is what she wanted so I'm happy. I had done it before with food coloring but never Wiltons so I was pleasantly suprised.

I would imagine my results on yarn would be pretty similar to interlock, but I have never dyed it to confirm. That is the cutest thing ever!

I just added more dye to the dark. I was basically trying to get close to the lighter and darker ranges of each color, which you'd have to play with your water/dye mix so you'll have enough for the amount of yarn you're dyeing.

The one black was dyed 3 times (I think it was first purple, then a greenish purple, and finally black!). I'm definitely not an expert for getting black, and am thinking about using acid dyes for that in the future. I just have such a stockpile of yarn now that I haven't needed to dye for awhile to try it out.

I got a hot pink using christmas red. I don't like how Juniper falls apart, but it is always fun to see what colors you can get.
