Re: My FS0T checklist for Buyers & Sellers esp. Newbies...Wanna Help?

Great thread mama! I have just started out here buying in the last couple weeks and I have to agree that I had no idea what to ask. I have had awesome transactions but I too had no idea to ask if the inserts were the originals and if elastic was okay. I am only buying OS pockets, so while I have been very happy, this really helps me to be more selective in what I buy!

I like it when it's stated whether or not they ship to Canada...

I don't even waste my time w/ a thread that doesn't have pics.
THANKS! I guess that one should be so obvious that I hadn't even thought to add it- but it definitely should be there. I put in on the top of the list actually!

Thanks for the list. I'm always super paranoid when I sell. I take tons of pics and try to describe anything that might be construed as a flaw, but I've forgotten to add some of the things addressed here to my descriptions.

One thing I like is when sellers include when they typically ship. Obviously this isn't a must, but I've had some weird experiences with extremely delayed shipping.....I guess it would be nice to know if you only ship on fridays and I just bought something on Monday.

What a great thread.

I totally agree about adding what size your lo was when wearing the item. Especially wool, I had no clue, measured wrong, and got some huge longies. Of course I learned my lesson but it would have helped a newbie out for sure.

I might also add...whether or not you are willing to make trades or if you just want pp. I had that question asked a couple times and added it to my listing afterwards.

My first few transactions sucked on here, when I did confront one seller about the holes in the covers she sold me, she told me to suck it up because they were "basically ffs" umm...I paid $50 for 6 covers...maybe if they were shipped overnight and individually lol but not parcel post in priority envelope turned inside out (and I had to pay extra for the shipping) she also said "No mod will take your side because your feedback is low" so I just dropped it and put her on my do-not-buy-from list, I'll still never buy from her - no matter what she's got, its not worth it.
Ooooooooooh I'm mad on your behalf! That's awful. I totally understand backing down as a newbie but I do wish there was a way to know how many of the sellers out there with dozens & dozens of positive trader ratings got that way through bullying.
