Re: any other southern VA mamas?
Hi! I am from Charles City (between Richmond and Williamsburg) Not sure if this is considered southern VA. I have only lived here (VA) about a year.

Re: any other southern VA mamas?
I grew up in Lynchburg, my whole family is in Lynchburg, actually my business is in Lynchburg too (that is where our office is). However, we have been in NW VA for over 5 yrs. (though we come to town probably once a month)
Dh finally got a job back 'home' in January and commutes a few days a week. So we will be moving back to The Burg soon (we have to finish up some work on this house first). I look forward to moving home and I have lots of friends there, and it will be SO nice not having to drive in for birthdays etc. but I will miss the 'tribe' of wonderful natural families I have up here in Winchester. I live in Salem which is actually in the middle of Roanoke.
New to cloth diapering and searching for local places. So far I have found nothing. :-(

Re: any other southern VA mamas?
I used to live in Salem. We live in SE now, but still spend a lot of time in Salem. There aren't any local CDing places.
The people who run http://www.jennifersclothdiaperbouti...re/Default.asp are local, though, and they'd probably meet up with you if you want. How old are your LO's? My DD will be 4 months on Sunday and I'm desperate to find other mama's to hang out with. All my friends work and I need to socialize! Lol.

Re: any other southern VA mamas?
I have a 4 year old and am due the first of January. I am not sure if you would be interested but have you looked into the moms groups on meetup.com? I know there are 2 pretty large size groups that have moms from all over Roanoke and Salem on there. Also our church has a group that meets one Thursday a month. Nothing fancy just a few moms and the kiddos. It's not a large group.
I remember when Lance was that young and I had no one to socialize with. It's hard! |

Re: any other southern VA mamas?
Are there any local to Roanoke mommies on here that are active? I am new to all this cloth diapering stuff and would love to meet up with someone that is experienced or wanting to learn with me. Most of my friends are either anti cloth or older and used the Gerber stuff. They have no idea what they are missing!
