How was the fit?

What was the size of your lo when you used it? We tend to have quite small LO's so I to get an idea of how small they will work with.

PICS WOULD BE GREAT!!!

I dont have any pics for you my camera broke. But I used (and am still using) Thirsties XS cover over LL PF with my son. He was born July 17 8lb 10oz and they fit nicely and hold up against all the EBM poo. They are also what we use at night and he is sleeping about 6 hours at night without changing.

My baby was 8 lbs. and I tried to use the XS Thirsties, but found them huge. Yes, they did work, but extra fabric would bunch up in the crotch and hips. I sold them.

I think I'm the only person in the world who doesn't like the Thirsties. No one told me they were so frakkin' huge.

Just curious - what did you use instead?

Also, I will be using them over fitteds, not prefolds. Will that make a difference?

I actually like them better over fitteds. I moslty used PF though. The reason is becuase with a fitted it is already in place. Unless you are a master pf folder it is harder to get them in place so I always foun my self pushing up a little bit of PF that was sticking out under the cover. I never had an issue with too much material in the middle, when pulled tight around the waist it fit perfectly.

I used them over prefolds and over Swaddlebees newborn fitteds.

I liked the BSWWs. They just fit so nicely on a newborn. It would be nice if they had gussets, but I still liked them best.

I used the x-small on by 5 1/2 pound newborn and loved them! There was certainly some growing room - but they worked awesome!

I used XS on an almost 8 pound newborn and on a 9 pound newborn over prefolds and fitteds. I love the fit. I'm not crazy about PUL covers, but I really like these and Bumkins vented ones. I'd probably use them more except I don't like using snappis on my boy. It looks like it would hurt. Instead we use bg pockets a lot of the time.
