Re: What We Wish You Knew About Infertility
Thank you for speaking to my heart with your words. It really helps to know that someone out there must understand what's going on in my head if they can put it into exact words like you did. Bless you.

Re: What We Wish You Knew About Infertility
Wow! That is so true!
I have been TTC sine I had my IUD out in June 2010. I have only had 8 cycles and had 1 MC (of the 8 I have had). I finally went back to a GYN after seeing 2 that were complete idiots. http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/....php?t=1148609 This was my post about it. I am going to share this with my BFF.

Re: What We Wish You Knew About Infertility
I just wanted to share my love with those of you on this thread. I know exactly how you feel and what amazes me, is even with the birth of DD 1 and being pregnant with DD 2, I still FEEL infertile, if that makes any sense. I still can't let go of some of those doubts and insecurities and hurts that accumulated in 8 years of trying with never a single sign of pregnancy. I think that part of me still mourns for all that lost time, even when I can look forward to the future.

Re: What We Wish You Knew About Infertility
I love this. It is so true. No one understands infertility and the emotional rollercoaster like those who are on the ride. My friend is 32 and having #4 in a few days. After an abortion and a miscarriage. And she asks us when we will have one.. if she only knew. I can't tell anyone about it. I feel like a failure. My body won't let me have the one thing we desire most, a baby. Then I see all these children born to abusive parents, and they usually have like 6 kids, and it drives me nuts. Why do people who have no business having kids keep popping them out? Why are they so fertile and not me? It's just not fair. But, that's how I feel.. I look at the baby clothes I have from DD and foster kids and cry. It's a horrible thing, to experience infertility.

Re: What We Wish You Knew About Infertility
Loved the original post! It stated everything I had been feeling for the past 8 years. Unless you have gone through it you have no idea. The phrase that always killed me was "you just need to relax, maybe take a vacation." Thankfully, with help from ivf we are expecting twin girls. I am not sure what our future holds in terms of more kids but I can only hope the next time around goes better and faster.

Re: What We Wish You Knew About Infertility
Oh I wish everyone could read this - it describes exactly how I felt while I was going through fertility treatments....just reading it brought back so many sad and unpleasant memories. If only I could erase those years. We were lucky and with some "help" have a set of twins but there are so many times I wish for more. Nothing upsets me more than having someone tell me "I'm lucky - a boy and a girl - you got it done all in one shot you must be done now".....wish people would think before make they comments.
