Diaper Swappers

I cut my baby's hair about a week and a half ago and regretted it right away.

My dh really wanted it done though and after daily arguements (for like a month) about when we going to cut it, I just did it. Everyone else's comments were annoying, but I wasn't going to cut it because of them. "Them" mostly being my mom and one of my sisters. My mom kept saying "It's not like it's curly. I could see keeping it long if it was curly." Whatever mom. He also got called a girl by random people at the grocery store and stuff, but that didn't bother me at all. I'd just smile and go on my way.

OH gosh. You'll have to excuse the boogy nose. He was not happy being in the highchair without food and he was crying and rubbing his face, getting boogies all over!!

This is what he had... then we shaved it in the summer. I wouldn't say LONG, but he had A LOT, and it was soooooo soft! (Really bad sweating (hence the red cheeks!) & eczema)

This is now: NOT soft, more like brillo, NOT curly, but I REFUSE to cut!

Have to share another pic of my younger Nephew. This was taken a few months ago. He's jumping on the Trampoline to Thomas the Tank Engine music. I'm not looking forward to the day his hair is finally cut. He's just so Purdy with long hair.

I think they are all so cute! mny Ds has barely got any hair, and my DH already wants to cut it because it's just now starting to get over the ears.. Can't blame him too much.. He's still in the military mode. lol

but I won't let him cut it either. I don't see the need. I don't know how long I'll let it go, but my kid will not EVER have the super short hair unless he himself requests it.

i really do love long hair on little boys (and men too!) and i plan to let my guy get shaggy as soon as his hair fills in more. he's 11 months and i trimmed his bangs a little like a week ago.

i think the little ones whose hair is still really thin need it shaped up some until it thickens and then it looks good to let it grow. to me, long uneven stringy baby hair doesn't always look very good.

I'm curious to see if my 15mo gets daddy's curly hair b/c it is curling in the back right now.
