I've had recent problems with my pp acct where I did not have the "print shipping label" button appear on recent payments received. I called paypal and they said this is because my buyers are selecting "personal" instead of "purchase". I was told to refund and instruct buyers to select "purchase" in order to ship through paypal. Is this a common issue? Is this how DS wants us to handle this?

If ther buyer selects personal, payment owed you will not get a shipping button. they need to select goods in order for you to be able to print the label. You should refund and request that they resend the payment marked as goods.

How are refunds handled? I am accepting a return of a diaper, and need to send $ for the buyer to pay for shipping. Can I send the shipping money as "money owed"? How about the refund for the diaper? It seems a little crazy to pay paypal fees to receive funds as well as on the refund too (as I understand refunds are charged... correct me if I'm wrong). I definitely want to follow the rules, just not clear on what they are in this instance.
