Re: Sunning stains out, should be a sticky.

The sun is amazing. I had some major stains on a doubler and in an hour - all gone!!

So I think this should be a sticky, because it is so unnecessary to use any kind of detergent/oxy stuff - that just wastes money/water/energy.

Sun is more efficient, cheaper, "greener", and it works on all stains, old and new. Even on EBF poop stains.

Wet your diapers and put them near a window or line dry them outside. Even on cloudy days the sun works!

Could someone please make this a sticky?
Using a lemon paste made with whole lemons blended with water works great to sun as well. Just rinse off with a hose before it completely dries and then re-sun.

Anyone use Bac-out? Or would you just recommend sunning?

What about stains that get in the scrunched up area where the elastic is . I've been sunning mine from the start but area is so hard to get to. I tried stretching the elastic out but while the staining is gone, that relaxes the elastic too much.

I'm new here, trying to get me six posts in. I'm so excited to start cloth diapering when my little one gets here.

I've tried sunning a few times in bright direct sunlight, with some fleece pockets that came to me with stains. The stains maybe faded? I used lemon juice, put them out wet..I guess it doesn't work as well on older stains?

I have the same problem with EBF stains on some of my pockets... would love to know if anyone has suggestions.
