Congrats!! What an awesome delivery! Beautiful pics!
My MW palpated and always said DS#3 was vertex and I requested a sonogram in the office since we were in the sono room and she went to see his head and realized it was his butt! Thank GOD I requested that sono because otherwise I could have had a bad situation on my hands. When he was born the dr didn't make it and the nurse had to deliver but obviously if he was breech they would have panicked!! LOL

BEAUTIFUL STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have an OB and a MW. Hoping to deliver my own baby @ home by my own hands. Dh and MW will be here but I want to do it nyself. Here's hoping.....

Wow, congrats! Glad everything turned out great! My baby's frank breech (due Mar 25), we found out at 38 wks, after months of being told it was head down. We're planning on giving the breech delivery a go, so it's great to hear a successful breech birth story.

Frank breech is the best possibility for a vaginal breech birth (come to find out). The butt is a similar diameter to the head, so less chance of the baby getting stuck. Good luck! I hope you get your vaginal delivery!

Congrats! His head looks the same shape as my 2.5 year-old DS who was breech. I knew it for weeks before he was born, though. I just kept telling everyone I didn't think he was head down. The OB did an ultrasound to check other things around 36.5 weeks. He said, "Well, you are right. He is breech. Automatic C-section." I was soooo upset. I did a variety of things to try to turn him but nothing worked. Then my water broke at 37.5 weeks and he was delivered via c-section. I was disappointed with that but otherwise we were both healthy and fine. I'm glad you got to have a natural birth at home. That is what I'm planning with this one who is HEAD-DOWN!!!
