Re: Holy good Hummus (semi-homemade... no tahini!)
i just make hummus and omit the tahini w/out any problems - i dont put sour cream but otherwise that recipe looks pretty much like mine
if i want less fat i put some water in in place of some olive oil

Re: Holy good Hummus (semi-homemade... no tahini!)
I love hummus, this sounds good! When I make hummus, I put unsweetened peanut butter in it instead of the tahini. It's yummy!

Re: Holy good Hummus (semi-homemade... no tahini!)
Anyone know if you can freeze the recipe in the original post? It sounds delish and I can't wait to try it!

Re: Holy good Hummus (semi-homemade... no tahini!)
interesting, I never tried with sour cream either. I use Tahini and the jar lasts me forever since you only need about a tbsp each time.
I think i will try it , it's so easy to whip up with a food processor |

and dd 9/11/06
and Abigail 2-24-08--
come SWAG with me!!

I wish I could find a good hummus recipe without tahini because everytime I buy it, I never use up the whole jar before it goes bad!
